Why we built pynmo
A tech industry without the lonely layoff.
10 July 2026 was our last day. Everyone who went on to build pynmo was laid off in the same wave, on the same morning.
Layoffs are not easy. They carry emotional weight and stress.
We've been there and we understand, so we built pynmo, for tech by tech.
From our members
I was on a track that was full of growth and opportunity and was blindsided by the workforce reduction. I knew that AI would become an important part of my daily work so I became a champion for my team to help promote it's integration. Needless to say, my position was no longer invaluable. Joining the pynmo team allowed me to connect with teammates who had the same fate bestow upon them. We created our own scrum, met daily, upskilled, and helped each other find new jobs. I wasn't alone!

Pricing
Everything on pynmo, including mock interview practice with other members.
$170 to $500 per one-hour session
Each coach sets their own price. You pay through Stripe, and pynmo never sees your card details.
Coaching opens once our first coaches join.
Refunds
- Full refund if you cancel 24 hours or more ahead, or if the coach cancels.
- If the coach doesn't show up or gives no written feedback within 48 hours, full refund if you ask within 7 days.
- No refund if you cancel inside 24 hours or don't attend.
Frequently asked questions
Is pynmo free?
Yes. Everything on pynmo is free except sessions with a coach. Practising mock interviews with other members is free too.
How much does a coaching session cost?
Each coach sets their own price, from $170 to $500 for one hour. You pay through Stripe, and pynmo never sees your card.
Who is pynmo for?
pynmo for layoffs is for laid-off tech workers only. You need to be 16 or older.
Is pynmo only in the US?
Yes, pynmo is for people in the US for now.
Why do you ask for my LinkedIn profile?
To verify who you are and keep our community safe. Every member adds one before they can use pynmo.
How do cohorts form?
You can add your résumé and three companies you'd like to interview with, and we suggest up to six projects where you already know about a third of the work. A cohort is 2 to 4 people, runs 4 to 10 weeks, and you're in one at a time.
What happens to my data?
We don't sell it and we don't use it to train AI. Your email is never shown to other members. You can download your data or delete your account at any time.
